Country house near Bath

This plain, quarry manager’s Victorian house was to be extended to form a five bedroomed property with a Queen Anne façade.

This resulted in what had been a highly unattractive house being altered to a fine country residence with a Queen Anne façade and classical east and west wings planned of which, to date, one has been constructed.  The library was created with panels hiding secret cupboards behind bookcases etc.
