WBF reconfigured this Grade II listed former rectory, simplifying the layout and creating a new Orangery which now forms the heart of the house. The new extension houses a kitchen and dining area, opening out to the subtly landscaped garden.

Replacing an existing conservatory, the Orangery serves to link the formal 17th Century main house to a converted swimming pool complex, now serving as a family room.

The external detailing is key to the success of the scheme, the extension is constructed from ashlar Bath stone, with stone columns, parapet and a cornice that echo the features of the front elevation, bringing balance to the elevations of the property.
