Grade II listed Wiltshire house
Although the origins of this grade II listed property date back to the seventeenth century, it endured many alterations over the years. A vast extension was built in the early twentieth century when it was converted into a boarding school. Our brief was to create a wonderful, stylish home out of this institutional building, restoring and making dramatic use of the historic seventeenth century fabric.
Grade II listed country house in Oxfordshire
At the heart of an Oxfordshire village, this Grade II house dates back to the 1600s. Various additions and alterations were made over the intervening centuries and three years ago, after a previous breakdown in negotiations with the planners, the new owners came to us to take on the re-planning and extension of the property. The result is an homogenous blend of contemporary and traditional architecture that has created a comfortable, very special home, whilst retaining strong echoes of the various stages of its historic development.
